Hello! I'm Karen Bennett. 

 

I am a certified professional coach of 15 + years and member of the International Coaching Federation.  I studied marketing and business at CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing, London, UK) and possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

 

I've held marketing and business development leadership roles in large corporations in both the UK and USA and most recently with UCHealth Medical Group.

 I have worked directly in organizational initiatives to attract and improve nurse retention post pandemic, including developing curricula for staff training and development; a "Train the Trainer" program empowering preceptors with knowledge, learning and education to pass it on; developing improved communications between staff and leadership; working through organizational restructure with coaching leaders in change management to help with retention of good talent.

I'm an business entrepreneur in my own right,  having owed my own small businesses;  my first in my 20's  was not very successful. But I learned from my mistakes, made a plan to improve those areas and was richer in knowledge for it. I learned what makes success and what doesn't. My second one was much more successful and profitable.​
